It’s the same great app, just with a new name! The Energy Conservatory renamed its iTEC-700 app as TEC Gauge to represent its compatibility with the new DG-1000, as well as the DG-700 and DG-500.
TEC Gauge provides wireless control and display of the three pressure and flow gauges so users can operate their gauge from anywhere in a home or building. Contractors are free to find air leaks, without the need for cables connecting them to a Blower Door or Duct Blaster®.
The app includes three helpful features to aid airtightness testing:
- Cruise Control: Allows users to adjust the speed of a Blower Door fan or Duct Blaster® fan right from their mobile device.
- Baseline: Helps contractors evaluate airtightness of a home or building by providing a baseline airtightness reading.
- Capture: Lets users store, label and share airtightness readings. Files can be shared in text or xml formats using file sharing apps like Dropbox and Google Drive.
