Exhaust Fan Flow Meter
The Exhaust Fan Flow Meter is designed to make quick and accurate measurements of airflow through residential bathroom fans, whole house ventilation fans and other exhaust devices. Smaller, lighter and easier to use than conventional flow measuring hoods.
Features
- Meter box comes with an adjustable opening which provides three ranges of fan flow measurement.
- Flexible gasket around the opening helps create a seal around the exhaust fan while taking readings.
- Short yellow handle comes threaded so that a standard painters pole can be attached to handle for added length.
- The pressure reading taken from the Exhaust Fan Flow Meter is easily converted to air flow in CFM using the flow table attached to the side fo the metering box.

- E2 – Flow (CFM) = 20.72 x Metering box pressure in pascals.
- E3 – Flow (CFM) = 10.07 x Metering box pressure in pascals.
Flow Accuracy
- ±10% of reading when used with a 1% accurate pressure gauge.
Flow Range
- Door position E1:44 – 124 CFM
- Door position E2:21 – 59 CFM
- Door position E3:10 – 28 CFM
